Despite being one of the most abundant minerals on the planet, quartz crystals in their different shapes and colours have amazed and fascinated humans for thousands of years.

Quartz is a naturally occurring crystalline solid which means it's made up of crystals.  The ancient Greek philosopher Theophrastus believed it was a type of ice that would never melt.  The fact it could be found in the Alps further confirmed his theory.

The purest form of quartz which is colourless and transparent is also known as rock crystal.

These gorgeous crystals are incredibly tactile.  Each one was individually chosen for our collection.
