Spectacular Quartz Crystal Cluster
A large, spectacular quartz crystal cluster, weighing in at 2.5 kilos.
This raw piece of quartz has more than 32 well-formed crystals, ranging in size from a couple of millimetres to more than twelve centimetres. It was not easy to capture in a photograph so cannot be fully appreciated.
The terminated crystals, which are in excellent condition, are colourless, translucent, and reflect light from every angle.
When turned upside down, the base of the cluster features several minute, terminated crystals. In a slightly dimmed light, the entire surface sparkles incessantly.
