Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of being received. Our website has a minimum order value of £10.

Delivery within the United Kingdom
Most of our orders are sent as a 'Large Letter' or 'Small Parcel'. The thickness of the package for a 'Large Letter' must not exceed 2.5 centimetres. This is strictly enforced by Royal Mail.
Classes of Service and Prices
As an online retailer of rocks and minerals, we offer the largest variety of delivery services. You can make your selection during checkout.
If you choose Royal Mail Standard 1st or 2nd Class, your parcel is not tracked. Should it be delayed or lost, we cannot trace its journey. We can provide proof of postage if required.
If it is lost, we will submit a claim to Royal Mail. This can only be done ten days after the parcel was posted.
DPD Next Day delivery has recently been added. To use this service, orders must be received before midday, 12 pm. DPD may still be selected after this time, but dispatch will be the following day, for delivery the day after that.
Royal Mail | Standard 1st Class
Aims to deliver next working day but not guaranteed. No tracking, compensation up to £20 should the parcel not arrive.
Royal Mail | Standard 2nd Class
Aims to deliver in 2 to 3 working days, no tracking, compensation up to £20 should the parcel not arrive.
Royal Mail | 1st Class Signature Upon Delivery
Aims for next-day delivery but not guaranteed. Signature requested from recipient, online delivery confirmation. Compensation up to £50 should the parcel not arrive (excludes jewellery).
Royal Mail | 2nd Class Signature Upon Delivery
Aims to deliver in 2 to 3 working days, signature requested from the recipient. Online delivery confirmation. Compensation up to £50 should the parcel not arrive (excludes jewellery).
Royal Mail | Tracked 24/48
Tracked 24 "aims" for next-day delivery. We know from experience that this target is not always met. Tracked 48 "aims to deliver" within 2 to 3 working days, but often takes longer.
The advantage is that both services are fully tracked. Once your parcel has been collected, you will receive tracking details by email from Royal Mail.
Tracked 24/48 is available with or without signature confirmation. Compensation up to £75 should the parcel not arrive.
No compensation is offered for delayed delivery.
Royal Mail | Special Delivery Service
This is the only guaranteed next-day delivery service. Parcel delivered by 1 pm or your money back.
Fully tracked, signature requested upon delivery, compensation up to £750 should the parcel not arrive.
DPD Next Day Delivery
DPD aims to deliver next day, Monday to Saturday. A fully tracked service with a proof of delivery photo as standard.The recipient can change the delivery day or nominate a safe place or neighbour for the parcel to be delivered to.
Items covered for loss and damage up to £50 as standard. Additional insurance is available if required.
Delivery Outside of the United Kingdom
If you are shopping from an EU member state, please read this article before proceeding with your order. The UK is no longer part of the EU.
We cannot include postage prices for countries outside the UK because they vary greatly. Prices and services will appear during checkout.
We offer the following international postal services:
INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY
International Economy is a competitively priced delivery service suitable for those not in a hurry to receive their parcel. Delivery times vary but can be considerably longer. Compensation up to £20 should the parcel not be delivered. It is not tracked at any stage of its journey.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARD
Royal Mail International Standard is a non-tracked 1st Class service. Compensation up to £20 should the parcel not be delivered.
INTERNATIONAL SIGNED
This service is no longer offered by Royal Mail; the only exception is for documents.
INTERNATIONAL TRACKED
International Tracked offers full tracking from drop-off to delivery. Compensation up to £50 or £250 should the parcel not arrive.
INTERNATIONAL TRACKED AND SIGNED
This service is no longer offered by Royal Mail; the only exception is documents.
If a parcel sent to a destination outside the UK does not arrive, we will submit a claim to Royal Mail. This can only be done 25 days after it was posted.
