This section contains important information about the Terms and Conditions that govern your use of our website. We appreciate it's not the most interesting page but does include details relevant to placing an order and for returning goods.

By placing an order online with Stone Mania, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by British law, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the British courts.

Stone Mania is domiciled in the United Kingdom. We make no warranty to anyone placing an order for goods from outside the United Kingdom that our website complies with non-UK laws or regulations.

Contract for Sale

A contract comes into place once payment has been received for goods purchased online from Stone Mania.

Receipt of an Order

Upon receipt of payment, confirmation of your order will be sent by email. You may also be advised through WhatsApp or a text message that your order has been confirmed.

Stone Mania reserves the right to refuse to supply any person.

All products are carefully inspected before dispatch. We generally process and dispatch orders on the same day they are received. However, in some cases, it may take slightly longer.

You will be informed when your order has been dispatched.

Prices and Availability of Goods

Prices on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP £), but can also be viewed in U.S. dollars and Euros.

We have a minimum order value of £10.

You are responsible for any customs duties and handling charges in your country resulting from goods being sent overseas. If you are in an EU member state, please read this article to avoid incurring additional fees. 

Whilst we make every effort to ensure prices and details on our website remain accurate at all times, data entry errors and other technical problems may sometimes result in an inaccurate price being shown. In such cases, we are not required to honour the advertised price.

Conformity of Goods

Although we make every effort to ensure that product photos are as true to life as possible, shapes and sizes can be deceiving. Colours and shades of colour may also appear to be more or less vibrant.

This may be caused by your monitor or device, your browser, or our photographic equipment. We cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour of an item, regardless of the cause.

Accepted Methods of Payment

Payment for goods purchased online from Stone Mania can be made through PayPal or bank transfer. For a bank transfer, payment must be made within five hours of an order being placed. If no payment is received, the order will be cancelled. 

Delivery of Goods

We take great care in packaging orders to ensure they arrive safely. However, once a parcel has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during transit.

We recommend choosing a postal service with sufficient insurance to cover the value of your order. If an item arrives damaged, we can then submit a claim to Royal Mail on your behalf.

If a parcel is lost in transit, we must wait ten days before submitting a claim for addresses within the UK and twenty-five days for international addresses.

Our Shipping Policy provides full details of postage fees and includes the services offered and compensation should a parcel become lost or the goods arrive damaged. This page is updated regularly in accordance with Royal Mail price increases. We are not obliged to give prior notice before changing postage prices.

If a parcel is being sent overseas using a tracked service, we cannot track its entire journey. We can only track parcels while they are in the UK and confirm delivery once they have been delivered.

When payment for goods is made through PayPal, in accordance with their Seller Protection Policy (see "Basic requirements" point 4), goods purchased online from Stone Mania can only be sent to the address registered with PayPal.

Payment must be made by bank transfer if you wish to use an alternative delivery address.

Returning Goods

Customer satisfaction is important to us, so if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will offer a full refund on the product purchased. 

Please inform us by email that you will be returning your purchase.

A full refund will be offered, providing the goods are:

• Received back within thirty (30) days of the date they were delivered (excluding purchases that exceed £150)

• In exactly the same condition as when they were dispatched

Goods up to the value of £150 (excluding postage) must be received back within thirty (30) working days of the date they were delivered.

Individual goods or multiple goods whose value exceeds £150 (excluding postage) must be received back within fourteen (14) working days of the date they were delivered.

For orders that qualify for free postage, currently over £80, the original postage fees will be deducted from the refund amount in the event of a return. This policy applies to all qualifying orders.
 
You will be liable for return postage fees and are responsible for ensuring goods are received back in the same condition as when they were dispatched. You are responsible for any loss or damage that may occur while the package is in transit.

The appropriate refund will be issued upon receipt of returned goods.

All refunds, irrespective of the method used to make payment, will be issued through PayPal.

PayPal charges a currency conversion fee for refunds to customers outside the UK. Depending on the circumstances of the refund, you may be liable for this fee.

Your privacy as an individual and as a customer is important to us. We do not use the information you provide on our website to learn any more about you other than what is required to fulfill your order.

We do not combine your individual information with any kind of site analysis but do look at the overall browsing behaviour of our customers to improve the way our website navigates.

We do not track your behaviour on any other websites or follow you once you've left our website.

Like all websites we use cookies to help us provide a great service. Any personal data gathered during your use of our website will be recorded electronically.  It will only be used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

Information will be used solely to complete your order.

A cookie is a small file stored on your computer by a website which acts as a unique ID. Cookies make it easier and faster for you to use a website that you've visited previously.

They enable information that has been viewed before to be brought up quickly whenever you need it.

A cookie generated by our website contains no personal information.  It only contains a numeric ID that will enable you to retrieve account details or revisit specific pages.

The cookie will store your email address and password so you don't have to enter those details again. 

Use of E-Mail

Stone Mania will only use your email address and telephone number as a way to contact you about your order.  All details you share with us are confidential and will never be passed to a third party.

Disclaimer

At Stone Mania we work continuously to keep our website up to date but cannot guarantee that it and its contents are completely free from technical errors.

Stone Mania cannot be held liable for any damages associated with the use of our website however caused.  Nor can we be held responsible for any incorrect prices or information that has been published.

Cooling Off Period

Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order and return it for a full refund (excluding postage fees).  Time limitations for returning an order can be found above.

Our website and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Stone Mania and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of our products would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation.

No prospective customer should seek to make any order through our website from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Stone Mania to sell products.

Legal Governance

Use of our website and any contract between you and Stone Mania is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Your use is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Copyright and Other Rights

All images, illustrations, designs layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this website are protected by copyright, trade mark, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or licenced to Stone Mania.

Our website as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by Stone Mania.

The contents of the website and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.

You may download or copy the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the website for the sole purpose of placing an order with Stone Mania or using the website as a shopping resource.

No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying.
