Beautiful red (almandine) garnet tumbled stones cut from material mined in India.
Garnet is one of the oldest gemstones and one of the most abundant minerals on Earth. Its use can be traced back as far as 3100 B.C.
Although red is one of the best-known and most popular colours, garnet can also be green, pink, yellow, orange, brown, black, or even colourless.
The colour is almost always natural because, unlike many minerals, it's rarely heat-treated.
These beautifully polished, premium grade garnet crystals are medium-sized tumbled stones, but some are on the larger side of medium. Having been produced in a rock tumbler, size does vary slightly from piece to piece.
