Garnet is one of the oldest gemstones and one of the most abundant minerals on Earth. Its use can be traced back as far as 3100 B.C.
Although red is one of the best-known and most popular colours, garnet can also be green, pink, yellow, orange, brown, black, or even colourless.
The colour is almost always natural because, unlike many minerals, it's rarely heat-treated.
These beautifully polished, premium-grade garnet crystals are a medium tumbled stone, however, some are on the larger side of medium. Size does vary slightly from piece to piece.
