Blue Apatite Crystals Larger Sizes
These medium to large sized blue apatite stones come from Brazil. They have been lightly polished and oiled so have retained their natural characteristics. No work has been carried out on them to remove imperfections or anomalies.
They have a distinctive smell which is similar to crayons. We have been told this is from the oil that was used. Crayons are made from paraffin wax so the wax in the oil is the cause of the smell.
In our photos these blue apatite stones appear to have more of a dull lustre meaning they absorb light instead of reflecting it. They actually have a slightly vitreous lustre so reflect a fair amount of light.
Some crystal healers believe rough crystals or those which have not been heavily polished have increased energy.
The size of these blue apatite stones varies slightly from piece to piece. They're generally a larger sized stone. They're a great choice for those who like polished crystals but prefer a more natural finish.
