Apatite is a soft and brittle mineral, which makes it particularly difficult to facet. For this reason, it's rarely used as a gemstone.
Apatite occurs in several colours, but green and blue tend to be the most popular. Green apatite was once known Asparagus Stone, although the name is now obsolete.
Boasting a subtle greenish-yellow colour, these apatite crystals have a vitreous lustre. They're delicate, so must be handled carefully.
Please bear in mind these green apatite crystals are rough so have not been polished.
The size of these crystals varies from piece to piece.
