Highly Polished Unakite Spheres
Three beautifully polished unakite spheres with distinctive colours and markings.
Unakite is a metamorphic rock that began as granite. Its name originates from the Unaka range of mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee, where it was discovered.
Being a relatively hard stone, unakite is easier to work with, hence it's often used for carving.
Premium-grade rock and mineral spheres are not generally mass-produced (except those from China). Each sphere is cut from a large block of stone and gradually shaped before being carefully polished to achieve a smooth finish.
These three unakite spheres have a silky-smooth texture and reflect light from every angle. Perfect as display pieces, they take up minimal space while adding a splash of colour to any setting.
Please select unakite sphere 1, 2, or 3 from the dropdown menu. They're numbered in our last photo.
