Strawberry Quartz Pendant
Strawberry quartz is a trade name for a pink or red coloured quartz whose colour comes from small visible inclusions of other minerals.
The inclusions can be hematite, lepidolite or alurgite which is a red variety of muscovite. They may also be piemontite or other pink to red coloured minerals.
The name strawberry quartz comes from its visible inclusions which are said to resemble the seeds of a strawberry.
Natural strawberry quartz is quite rare and can only be found in a small number of locations worldwide. Sadly the market is saturated with fake strawberry quartz.
This pear-shaped strawberry quartz cut gemstone comes from Kazakhstan. It has been mounted in a fine sterling silver setting. The bale of the pendant carries our own SM hallmark from the London Assay Office.
The jewellery in collection has been crafted by hand by a small team of talented artisans.
This strawberry quartz pendant may be purchased with or without the sterling silver snake chain.
