Deep Purple Amethyst Cabochons - AAA Grade
Finely polished, deep purple-coloured amethyst cabochons. Each stone was individually chosen for our collection during our last overseas buying trip.
Being translucent, the colour of amethyst is best appreciated when the gemstone is held up towards the light. All of the stones in this group boast exceptional colour.
The cabochons, which are AAA grade, are from a supplier in Jaipur with whom we have been doing business for many years. Most of the world's coloured gemstones are cut and polished in this part of India.

*The 4.7g square gemstone has a tiny chip on the lower edge in one corner. It has therefore been reduced.
**The teardrop-shaped stone has a faint mark on one side of the stone. We initially thought it was a fingerprint, but we were unable to remove it. We think it may be a section that was missed during polishing. It's not particularly noticeable and doesn't spoil what is otherwise a lovely stone.
