Mounted in a handcrafted sterling silver setting, the bale of the pendant carries our own SM hallmark from the London Assay Office.

While a trillion cut is relatively common for diamonds and coloured gemstones, combining it with concave facets requires skilled lapidary work.
A concave cut, which is more complex than traditional flat facets, is designed to maximise the stone's brilliance and give it a unique, three-dimensional appearance.
Due to the size of the amethyst, the setting is slightly deeper than it would be with a smaller gemstone.
