Two Entwined, Clear Quartz Crystals
A fascinating clear quartz cluster featuring two fully terminated crystals growing at near-perpendicular angles.
The dominant vertical crystal is intersected by a horizontal crystal, creating a dramatic intergrowth formation sometimes known as a penetration twin.
Each of the two larger crystals hosts an additional smaller crystal fused into its side, enhancing the structure's complexity.
One of the embedded crystals blends seamlessly into the termination point of one of the larger crystals, while a sliver-like crystal is attached to the back of the other (see our last photo). Due to the crystal’s transparency, this partially-grown crystal can be seen through the front of the main crystal.
This crystal formation is embedded in a raw quartz matrix.
This quartz cluster does not stand upright on its own, so must be displayed lying down or supported, as shown in our photos.
See these crystals in a live reel on our Instagram page.
