Morganite is a pink variety of the mineral beryl.
Despite the name, the colour can vary from yellowish-orange to peachy-orange to a peachy shade of pink. Morganite can also be a subtle shade of lilac or a subtle shade of green.
Most morganite gemstones sold commercially are pink. The vast majority would have been heat-treated, which enhances or changes the colour.
This faceted morganite gemstone reflects light beautifully from every angle. It's mounted in a deep, 18-carat white gold setting, which carries our own SM hallmark from the London Assay Office.
