Yellow Aventurine Tumbled Stones (large)

The colour of yellow aventurine can be very similar to orange aventurine.  Both are caused by impurities of goethite and/or hematite which are iron oxide minerals.

Although often described as a mineral aventurine is in fact a rock.  Rocks and minerals are not the same.

Aventurine is a quartzite which is a tough rock composed almost entirely of tightly interlocking grains of quartz.

These yellow aventurine tumbled stones have been finely polished which makes them exceptionally tactile. They can be used to create a colourful display or be enjoyed for their healing properties.

Although classed as a larger sized tumbled stone size can vary from piece to piece.
