Amethyst Geode - Rich Purple Coloured Crystals

A geode is a hollow rock lined with well-formed, terminated crystals. These geological curiosities form over millions of years when mineral-rich water seeps into cavities within volcanic or sedimentary rocks.

As the water evaporates, minerals slowly crystallise, creating stunning interiors that vary in colour, shape, and size depending on the minerals present.

Iron gives quartz its purple colour, transforming it into amethyst.

Every amethyst geode in our collection has been individually chosen for our collection.

To prevent the colour of amethyst crystals from fading, it should be positioned away from natural daylight.

Amethyst can be rinsed with water if necessary, but should not be submerged for any length of time.
