Blue Lace Agate Crystals from Namibia
Beautiful blue lace agate crystals tumbled from stone mined at Ysterputs, Southern Namibia.
The Ysterputs mine, which is the original blue lace agate deposit, has been closed since 2011. Therefore, in recent years, very little new material has entered the supply chain.
Although blue lace agate can also be found in Malawi and Zambia, the Namibian mine is known for producing the finest-grade stone.
In recent months, some small-scale artisanal mining has begun, and this is the first time in several years that we've found top-grade tumbled stones.
These blue lace agate crystals boast exceptional colour and markings and are beautifully polished. No two stones are the same.
They're medium-sized tumbled stones, but size does vary from piece to piece.
For smaller quantities, we'll choose larger stones (subject to availability), but for larger quantities, sizes will be mixed.
