Grade A Prehnite Crystals
The mineral prehnite has a subtle pastel green colour. It's often found with distinctive black inclusions which may be epidote, tourmaline, or amphibole. Grade-A crystals are mostly inclusion-free.
When used for its metaphysical properties, prehnite enhances visualisation while in a deeper state of meditation. For those who like organisation, it ensures you're prepared for whatever comes your way.
Although brittle, prehnite is a relatively hard mineral that grades 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It occurs in veins and cavities of certain volcanic rocks.
These larger-sized prehnite tumbled stones have the smoothest texture and reflect light beautifully. Size can vary from piece to piece, which is normal for stones produced in a rock tumbler.
Prehnite is found in several countries around the world, including the United Kingdom. Large quantities of gem-grade material come from the Northern Territories in Australia.
We also have grade-A prehnite tumbled stones in size medium, and prehnite with a more distinctive inclusion.
