Polychrome Jasper Tumbled Stones
Polychrome jasper to date has only been found in Madagascar. Also known as desert jasper, it's a relatively new find having been discovered as recently as 2008.
The stone was found whilst miners were looking for new veins of ocean jasper.
Widely used for decorative purposes, once polished polychrome jasper has a vitreous lustre so reflects light in a similar way to glass.
When used for its healing properties it provides protection and absorbs negative energy. It can also be used to bring the body back into harmony by balancing yin and yang.
Hundreds of different varieties of jasper exist around the world. Stones usually feature more than one colour and shades of blue are rare
