Beautiful Quartz Crystal Ball

A magnificent quartz crystal ball full of curious inclusions and exceptional crystallisation.

Staring deep into this natural mineral really captures the imagination.  Using a powerful magnifier enables you to see Mother Nature's artwork in even more detail.  A jeweller's loupe is ideal for this purpose.  

This crystal ball has a vitreous lustre so reflects light in a similar way to glass.

It has been cut from natural quartz not glass or lead crystal.  These materials are often used to produce crystal balls because they're a cheaper alternative.

I've included more photos because it's not easy to capture the natural beauty of a crystal ball in a photograph.  Certain sections of this sphere exhibit exceptional clarity.  

This larger sized crystal ball is standing on a polished hematite ring.  These are ideal for supporting spheres of most sizes.  The mineral hematite is brittle so if dropped it's likely to break.
