These 9 fluorite crystal spheres are the actual pieces being offered for sale in this listing. They're all a similar size and have similar colour. Some are more translucent than others but it's worth bearing in mind this is a solid sphere of fluorite.
The colour in fluorite is delicate and can fade when exposed to heat or UV light.
Some decorative material from China is heated so the colour begins to fade. This lightens deeper shades of red and pink which makes the mineral more translucent. These stones are usually sold as "Candy" or "Watermelon" fluorite.
Fluorite is a relatively soft and fragile mineral so must be handled carefully. It chips and fractures easily so internal fractures and minor surface imperfections are not uncommon.
