Polished Blue Lace Agate from Namibia
A beautifully polished, fine-grade blue lace agate stone from the Ysterputs mine in southern Namibia.
Ysterputs was the original mine where blue lace agate was discovered. The deposit is now closed and has been for several years.
Small amounts of blue lace agate can be found in Malawi and Zambia, but the quality is rarely the same.
This exceptionally tactile stone is slightly translucent. The stone on the left (the only piece now available) has a distinctive inclusion, making it even more unique.
