Amazonite Lenticular-Shaped Stone
Finely polished amazonite stone cut from material mined in Brazil. Only one piece from this collection is now available.
Each side has a subtle dome shape, so with the slightest movement, it wobbles.
Despite also being known as Amazon Stone, amazonite is not found near the River Amazon. At the time of being named, this mineral is believed to have been mistaken for nephrite jade, which is found close by.
This amazonite stone carving reflects light beautifully. Its incredibly smooth texture makes it wonderfully tactile.
