Rhodochrosite Gemstones - Minor Imperfections
Four beautiful rhodochrosite gemstones, cut from material mined in Argentina.
All four stones all have minor imperfections, so they're being sold at a reduced price.
The imperfections in stones 1,2 and 3 are so minor that I'm confident they won't even be noticed. They're very small sections on the side of the stones that have not been polished quite as well as they should have been.
The chunkier square rhodochrosite gemstone exhibits excellent colour and markings. The base has not been polished, and the top has a couple of tiny indentations.
Around the edge, there's a faint mark from where it was mounted in a setting, which we removed. On the base, there's a small chip on one edge and another on one corner. Neither can be seen from the top of the stone. They're circled in our last photo.
Rhodochrosite is a soft, fragile stone, so it must be handled carefully.
These gemstones are from a parcel we bought to help a business that was going into liquidation. If you're looking for premium-grade stones and are not put off by a minor imperfection, this rhodochrosite will not disappoint.
