Translucent Rose Quartz Cabochon Stone

Beautifully polished oval shaped rose quartz cabochon from our collection of rocks and minerals.  The top of this stone is subtly rounded whilst the base is flat.  A web of intricate inclusions can be seen when the stone is held up towards the light. 

With it being fully polished this rose quartz cabochon is incredibly tactile.  It could be used to create a piece of jewellery or could also be used as a crystal for its healing properties. 

Unlike many coloured varieties of quartz the colour of rose quartz is generally stable.  This means it doesn't tend to fade when exposed to sunlight.  Some stones however have been known to fade after long periods of exposure.

This rose quartz cabochon was cut from material mined in Brazil.
