Sugilite Tumbled Stones Grade C
Finely polished sugilite tumbled stones from South Africa.
Sugilite is a rare mineral found primarily in the Kalahari Manganese Field, Earth's largest land-based manganese deposit. The area is located in the Northern Cape Province.
Being so rare, sugilite is difficult to source and can be expensive.
In the past, we have always had grade-A sugilite tumbled stones in our collection. The difference in quality between the two grades is quite significant.
Not only is fine-grade sugilite extremely difficult to find, but the retail price of a tumbled stone would start at around £25 for a relatively small stone.
These crystals are larger-sized sugilite tumbled stones, but size does vary from piece to piece.
Although it can't really be fully appreciated from our photos, they're highly polished.
