Azurite Tumbled Stones from Peru
Premium-grade azurite tumbled stones, carefully chosen for our collection of rocks and minerals.
These crystals range in size from small to large. All of the stones available are shown in our photos.
Azurite is a distinctive blue copper carbonate mineral that often forms with or close to malachite. Both minerals form through the oxidation of copper ore, a natural chemical reaction where copper interacts with oxygen, water, and carbon dioxide over time.
The finest-grade azurite can display a deep, vibrant blue colour and is highly sought after by mineral collectors.
Azurite is relatively soft, so it should be handled with care and stored somewhere cool and dry.
Due to the size difference, we have split these azurite crystals into medium, large (which is a slightly larger-sized medium), and large.
Each stone has been finely polished and exhibits excellent colour.

Shipping costs for rocks and minerals from Peru are often higher because stones are typically exported by air rather than by sea.
Air freight from Lima also tends to be more expensive than from high-volume export countries.
While it would be far cheaper to source tumbled stones from China, we very rarely buy rocks and minerals from Chinese suppliers.
