Quartz Crystal Tower w/Rutile
A spectacular, large and chunky quartz crystal tower, with needle-like inclusions of what appears to be black rutile.
Subtle iridescence can be seen within the quartz, caused by internal fractures reflecting light at different angles.
There is a very small fill (about half a millimetre) on one side, close to the base. It can be seen in our last photo.
This quartz crystal tower is an exceptional piece with a complex internal structure. It's translucent and has been finely polished to a vitreous lustre.
