Reddish-Brown Imperial Jasper Cabochon

The top of this Imperial Jasper cabochon has been polished, the base is unpolished.

A deep reddish-brown gemstone with a hint of pink.

Also known as Royal Imperial Jasper, this stone comes from Zacatecas, Mexico. It has not been found anywhere else in the world.

Imperial jasper usually features more than one colour or shade of colour. Its unique markings often make it relatively easy to identify.

A lovely stone to use in a piece of jewellery or to add to a collection of rocks and minerals.
