Lapis Lazuli Crystal Wands
Highly polished lapis lazuli wands for use in alternative therapies.
Crystal wands tend to be used to direct and focus energy to a specific part of the body. The energy flows through the lines of the wand and exits through the terminated point. The opposite end which is usually rounded can be used for massage.
In reflexology a crystal wand is used on pressure points to bring the body into balance with the aim of relieving pain.
Most of the world's lapis lazuli and certainly the finest grades come from Afghanistan. Some of the original mines that supplied stone to Ancient Egypt are still being worked today.
Both lapis lazuli crystal wands were carved by hand from stone mined in the Badakhshan Province in the north east of the country.
They can be comfortably held between the thumb and forefinger.
