These beautifully polished malachite stones are from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Malachite can be a difficult stone for cutters to work with because it's soft, so damages easily, and its dust is toxic.

Malachite is known for its distinctive green colour and swirling patterns or concentric bands.

Being soft, it must be handled carefully and should not get wet.

Each malachite stone in our collection has been carefully chosen. 

These grade-A polished malachite stones are numbered 1 to 3 in our last photo.
