Spectacular Larimar Gemstone
Larimar is a rare and beautiful stone found only in the Las Filipinas mine in the Dominican Republic.
Only a limited amount is exported. The vast majority is sold within the Dominican Republic.
This larger Larimar gemstone was one of only a few pieces we had cut from a large piece of rock we purchased.
It's a subtly translucent gemstone that has been beautifully polished, which makes it incredibly tactile.
A Larimar stone of this size and grade would be better suited for a collector than for use in jewellery.
