Fluorite is a natural mineral composed of calcium and fluorine.
These rough stones show fluorite's typical colour range, with purple, green and blue. Where white is present, it could be fluorite, or may also be quartz, calcite, dolomite or barite.
Pieces marked (g) in the dropdown menu are mostly green.
Fluorite is a soft, fragile mineral, so it can chip and break easily. It should always be handled carefully and should not be stored with harder stones.
