Dumortierite Crystals from Mozambique

These dumortierite tumbled stones are a lower grade because they feature visible inclusions of other minerals.  

Many rocks and minerals are graded according to the lack of or presence of inclusions. 

Dumortierite is quartz that's heavily included with crystals of dumortierite.  It's sometimes called blue quartz which is not correct.

When used for its healing properties dumortierite induces a calm and relaxed state of mind.  It can benefit those who deal with challenging or difficult situations in their line of work. 

When used for meditation it can help to facilitate a deeper state of relaxation and inner exploration.

These dumortierite tumbled stones are a medium size stone.  Size does vary from piece to piece so we've split them into small and medium.
