Although it occurs in several different colours, the blue and green varieties of apatite are the most common. Being quite soft and brittle means that it's not particularly suitable as a gemstone but very fine specimens can occasionally be found and are usually faceted. Lower grade stones however tend to be cut as cabochons. Blue apatite is widely used for carving spheres, figurines and other decorative items and tumbled stones are also popular.
The stones in our photograph are the only pieces we currently have available. Please do not adjust the quantity indicator when checkingout because we only have one of each stone available.
