These highly polished tumbled stones exhibit subtle markings, and many display fascinating chatoyance. This optical phenomenon occurs in several minerals but is best known in tigers eye.
Chatoyance happens when light reflects off a stone’s fibrous structure, inclusions, or internal cavities.
We only have a small quantity of these black tigers eye tumbled stones available and have not been able to find more of this grade.
These stones are wonderfully tactile, and no two are the same. They're a medium-sized tumbled stone, but size can vary from piece to piece.
