This enhances the colour and the way the stone reflects light.The chemical composition of ruby is virtually identical to sapphire. Red corundum is ruby, all other colours are sapphire.The colour of ruby comes from impurities of chromium.We have two of these ruby gemstones rings available. One is a UK size J, the other is K.
