Polka Dot Agate Pendant

This elegant polka dot agate pendant has an exceptionally slim design.

The gemstone has been mounted in a fine sterling silver setting.

Polka dot agate is a translucent material with distinctive round spots.  

It occurs mostly in shades of bluish white to yellow to brown.  The spots can be any combination of yellow, orange, red, brown or black.

Polka dot agate which is found in central Oregon was first mined by Native American Indians.

With this polished cabochon having been finely cut the pendant is surprisingly lightweight. I was crafted entirely by hand.
