Picasso Stone Pendant | Reduced

Picasso marble also known as Picasso stone.  The name Picasso jasper is also used but it's not a jasper.

This material is a metamorphic rock found in just a few places around the world.  Used primarily for decorative purposes this stone has interesting markings and a unique cut.  It's mounted in a fine sterling silver setting.

We have been led to believe Picasso marble was named after Italian artist Pablo Picasso.  This is apparently because of the patterns which give it an abstract-like appearance.

This piece has a slightly dull lustre so absorbs more light than it reflects.
