It has been beautifully polished, which unfortunately cannot be fully appreciated in our photos. The finish, which gives the stone a glossy appearance, combined with the chatoyant effect, makes this cabochon particularly striking.
The base of this tiger’s eye gemstone has only been polished for smoothness. Despite having a dull lustre, meaning it reflects only a minimal amount of light, some chatoyance can still be seen.
