Fossilised coral pendant crafted in a handmade sterling silver setting.

Fossilised coral cabochons of this size and grade are pretty rare.  Having been shown a large rough piece of stone by one of our suppliers, we couldn't resists having some large pieces cut and polished for our collection.

Fossilised coral dates back approximately 350 million years.  It's found primarily in Indonesia and the USA.  Stones from Lake Michigan are also known as Petoskey Stone.
