Blue Topaz Gemstones Concave Cut
AAA-grade Sky Blue Topaz gemstones with a concave cut.
This style of cut uses long, narrow facets that curve inwards to scatter more light towards the centre of the gemstone.
Gemstones cut in this way tend to be lighter because a considerable amount of the stone is lost.
A concave cut is time-consuming and complicated, but the end result is particlarly impressive.
Although topaz is a hard mineral, cutting gemstones is not easy because it's also fragile and chips and breaks easily.
