Charoite Polished Stone - Russia

A finely polished charoite stone with deep colour and distinctive swirling patterns.

Charoite is a relatively rare stone from Russia's Far East. It's found in a mountain complex called the Murun Massif, a large body of igneous rocks formed by ancient volcanic activity, later altered by hot, mineral-rich fluids.

It's the only place in the world where charoite is found.

Due to the political situation in Russia, charoite has become even more expensive and far more difficult to source.

This charoite stone was carefully chosen for our collection of rocks and minerals.
