Chrysoprase Crystal Wands - Grade A
Three exceptional chrysoprase crystal wands with apple-green colour. Each piece has been finely polished to a vitreous lustre and has a silky-smooth finish.
Although we wouldn't ordinarily buy chakra wands of this quality, these pieces caught our attention because it's not easy to find chrysoprase of this quality in this size.
Chrysoprase is a green variety of the mineral quartz. The exact shade of colour can vary depending on where it was mined.
The stone's colour can fade when exposed to strong sunlight or excessive heat for long periods.
The finest chrysoprase once came from Poland and the Czech Republic, but most material now comes from Australia, Russia, the USA, and Brazil.
Depending on the grade, stones can range from almost opaque to translucent. Chrysoprase is often confused with jade, and it is not uncommon for dyed agate to be sold as chrysoprase.
Although designed as crystal wands, the quality of the chrysoprase makes them perfect for display. This is why we chose them for our collection.
