Rich Purple Amethyst Crystal
A beautifully translucent amethyst crystal with rich purple colour. The colour is not uniform throughout the crystal which is a typical characteristic of this variety of quartz.
Iridescent rainbows of colour can be seen as it reflects light from various angles.
It's important to note the colour of amethyst is sensitive to light. As tempting as it may be to place this mineral close to a sunny window, amethyst should always be kept away from natural daylight.
This amethyst crystal comes from Brazil. One of the larger and slightly chunkier pieces from our collection, it makes a stunning display piece.
