Noreena Jasper is a relatively unknown gemstone variety which comes exclusively from Western Australia and is not found anywhere else in the world. Like Picture Jasper it's a variety of mudstone which tends to be used primarily as a lapidary material. Noreena Jasper is mined in the Pilbara Region which is well known for its vast mineral deposits and red coloured earth caused by iron oxides in the ground.
This Noreena Jasper pendant has been added to our Bargain Basement because there are two very minor marks on one side of the gemstone which can only be seen when it's examined very carefully. There is also another minor issue with the way the setting has been crafted but we're fairly confident that won't even be noticed.
If a couple of relatively minor imperfections are not something that would bother you in a hand crafted piece of jewellery and you're looking for something that's really quite spectacular, this Noreena Jasper pendant can't possibly disappoint.
