Kambaba Jasper Pendant
Kambaba Jasper pendant crafted for Stone Mania in a fine sterling silver setting. This finely cut cabochon exhibits wonderful swirling patterns and the colours which are traditional of this gemstone variety have a slightly sandblasted appearance. This piece has been added to the Bargain Basement because the shape of the gemstone is not perfectly circular and because of this, when the pendant is carefully inspected the bale at the top appears to be slightly off centre. Having said that you'll need to have a keen eye to even notice it.
Kambaba Jasper is a relatively rare type of rock that comes exclusively from Madagascar. Its geological make-up stems from a stromatolite which is a rock-like structure that forms in shallow seas and is built up from bacteria that has gradually been replaced by silica. Some of these fossils are said to date back around three billion years and for this reason, in crystal healing Kambaba Jasper is said to be a deeply earthing stone which harmonises its wearer to the natural cycles of the earth.
