Sodalite Crystals (white)
Sodalite Healing Crystals
These royal blue sodalite tumbled stones are beautifully polished and quite distinctive yet this mineral is often mistaken for lapis lazuli. As well as being used in conjunction with alternative therapies such as crystal healing sodalite is also popular with mineral collectors. Stones can be found with either a splash or white or orange colour which is caused by the presence of the mineral calcite. The finer grade material is widely used for lapidary purposes.
Sodalite which takes its name from its high sodium content is a light weight, affordable mineral that's used almost exclusively for ornamental purposes. It's graded 5½ to 6 on Mohs scale of mineral hardness which makes it quite durable but that said, it's also brittle which can make cutting the stone quite difficult.
As with all rocks and minerals there are different grades and when buying sodalite crystals for our collection we always try to opt for AAA grade whenever available.
Although classified as a medium sized tumbled stone the weights and sizes of these sodalite crystals varies slightly from piece to piece. When making your selection from the dropdown list should you choose to purchase 5 or 10 crystals there is a possibility you may be charged slightly more for postage than we end up paying because of the difference in weight of individual stones. Should this be the case any difference will be refunded once your order has been dispatched.
