Leopardskin Jasper Pendant
Distinctive Leopardskin Jasper gemstone pendant crafted for Stone Mania in a fine sterling silver setting. Leopardskin is a trade name for a particular variety of Orbicular Jasper which comes primarily from the state of Chihuahua in Northwestern Mexico. This highly polished stone exhibits distinctive peach to subtle orange coloured blotches against a dark backdrop and the timeless sterling silver setting in which it has been mounted, compliments these colours perfectly.
Jasper is a cryptocrystalline variety of quartz which means its crystals are too small to be seen with the naked eye. It's a stone that features many other minerals and substances which is why jaspers are almost always opaque.
As with all of the gemstones that we use in our collection, this Leopardskin Jasper cabochon was carefully chosen by a member of our team prior to it being crafted in its sterling silver setting. It comes complete with its own colourful gift pouch which will help protect the stone and the silver whenever the pendant is not being worn.
