Blue Lace Agate Tumbled Stones
Blue lace agate tumbled stones from Southern Namibia. These fine grade crystals boast distinctive colour and markings. Their exceptional polish and vitreous lustre contributes to them being incredibly tactile.
Blue lace agate and blue agate have a very similar appearance but are not the same stone. Although both are types of chalcedony, only stones with prominent wavy bands are correctly known as blue lace agate.
Although small amounts can be found in a few African countries, the vast majority has always come from Karasburg West, Southern Namibia. The mine is now closed and has been for several years. Most material now comes from Zambia and Malawi.
We only have approximately 30 of these blue lace agate tumbled stones left available.
