Aquamarine Pendant Large and Chunky

An impressive aquamarine gem-grade cabochon mounted as a pendant in a fine sterling silver setting.

Aquamarine is the blue variety of the mineral beryl. Shades of colour can vary from pale green to light blue.

When examined carefully in good light minute specs of colour caused by iridescence can be seen on the surface of the stone.

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March.

This finely polished cabochon has been mounted in a slightly chunkier sterling silver setting.

On one side of the setting a fine vertical line can be seen.  It's the result of firescale. It's very subtle and can only be seen as light hits the silver at a certain angle.  It appears far more prominent in our last photo because of the way the pendant is being illuminated. 

For this reason this aquamarine pendant is being offered at a slightly reduced price.
